1. Who we are

Korea Auto Export ("we", "us", "our") imports Korean-spec used vehicles to Algerian customers. We are reachable at the contact details listed on our Contact page.

2. What data we collect

When you submit an inquiry, quote, reservation, or contact form we collect: • Name, phone number, optional WhatsApp number, optional email • City and the vehicle you're interested in • Your message • Technical: IP address (hashed), user-agent string, the page you came from, and any UTM parameters in the URL We never collect: passport numbers, ID card numbers, payment card details, or bank account information through this website.

3. Why we collect it

Solely to reply to your inquiry, provide quotations and updates on a vehicle, and improve the website. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising. We may share data only with our shipping/customs partners and only to the extent necessary to fulfil your order.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies: • A session cookie (kae_session) to keep you logged in if you're an admin • A locale cookie (locale) to remember your language choice • Optional analytics cookies, only if you accept them from the consent banner. We use Plausible or Google Analytics 4 in a privacy-friendly configuration with IP anonymization. You can change your choice at any time via the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer.

5. How long we keep it

Lead data is retained for up to 24 months from the last contact so we can serve repeat customers. Aggregated analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. Audit logs (admin actions) are retained for up to 12 months.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to: see what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for follow-ups. Email us at the address on the Contact page and we'll respond within 30 days.

7. Security

Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. The site is served over HTTPS. Admin actions are audit-logged. We do our best to keep your data safe but no system is perfectly secure — if you spot a problem, please tell us.

8. Children

This website is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The 'last updated' date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
